1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a site. It allows the site to recognise you on the next page as well, to keep your session open and to remember your preferences.
In this policy the term "cookie" also covers other technologies that serve a similar
function: local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), pixel tags, tracking
pixels and software development kits (SDK).
Who places them?

How long do they stay?
- Session cookies: deleted when you close the browser.
- Persistent cookies: remain on your device until the specified period expires or until you delete them.
2. Our approach to consent
Our approach is clear: no non-essential cookie is run without your consent.
- On your first visit to the site you will see a cookie preference banner.
- Until you give consent, the scripts of analytics and marketing tools are not loaded onto the page at all — they are not merely made passive, they genuinely are not loaded.
- Closing the banner, scrolling or continuing to browse the site does not count as consent.
- Rejecting is as easy as accepting; both options are presented at the same level and with equal visibility.
- You may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal takes effect prospectively.
- Your decision (acceptance or rejection, when it was given and for which policy
version it was given) is kept only in your browser's local storage and is not sent
to the server; it ceases to be valid after
6 monthsand the preference banner is shown again.
No consent is sought in respect of essential cookies; these are technically necessary for the site to function and are based on the legal grounds of legitimate interest under Article 5/2-(f) of the Law and performance of a contract. Non-essential cookies, on the other hand, are based on your explicit consent (Law art. 5/1 and Electronic Communications Law No. 5809 (Elektronik Haberleşme Kanunu) art. 51).

5. Data processed through cookies and your rights
The IP address, device identifier and browsing data collected through cookies constitute personal data within the meaning of Law No. 6698. For the purposes of processing this data, the legal grounds, the conditions for transfer abroad and the procedure for exercising your rights under Article 11 of the Law, please see the Personal Data Protection Notice (KVKK).
The servers of the analytics providers we use are located abroad; for this reason, if you give your consent, your data may be transferred abroad in accordance with the conditions in Article 9 of the Law.
